Anger Management

A group that offers a supportive and non-judgmental environment to assist in addressing anger and its effect on our lives.
This program offers an 8-week support group designed to help participants recognize physical signals of anger, increase awareness of negative self-talk, restructure unhelpful thinking patterns, and communicate feelings, wants, and needs respectfully to improve relationships. Topics covered include:
  • Anger and the brain
  • Anger awareness
  • Dysfunctional thinking
  • Assertive communication
  • Stress and anxiety management
  • Calming technique
