Cerebral Palsy Association - Legal, Financial, Support & Referral Services for Individuals with Cerebral Palsy

Provides resources to individuals with Cerebral Palsy and provides legal education, financial support, and recreational services.
Programs and services include legal, financial, and support and referrals.

Financial:
  • Camperships: Financially assists kids attending a special needs camp of their choice in BC.​
  • Equipment Fund: Offers financial assistance for the purchase of assistive devices for people living with cerebral palsy.​
  • Education Bursaries: Bursaries are open to students with cerebral palsy in BC wishing to attend an institution of higher learning.
  • Janna Epp Bursary: In memory of Janna, Pacific Medical Law will donate $5,000 to a child living with cerebral palsy every year. This money will assist with that child’s care, therapy or recreation.


Legal:
  • Legal Resources Workshop: Learn to navigate a complex system of rights and access opportunities.​


Support and Referral:
  • Family & Individual Support: Access support for individuals and families relating to diagnosis, assistance for funding applications, education, crisis, advocacy and referrals.
  • CP Connections Group: The group offers a chance for members across the province to connect through candid and fun conversions.
  • Vancouver Island Resource Guides: Offers Living with CP Resource Guides for Vancouver Island and surrounding areas.
  • Disability Awareness Presentations: Offer speakers who can provide a glimpse of life with cerebral palsy to schools, community groups, and businesses.
