COACH - Cardiac Rehab in Central Okanagan

Reduces cardiovascular risk factors and enhances the health of individuals in the Central Okanagan.
COACH provides risk factor modification through education and exercise to help reduce and/or prevent the risk of developing heart disease. The COACH program will help improve fitness levels, functional capacity and quality of life. The following programs are offered:
  • In-Person Assessment: In-person health history & medication review, submaximal fitness assessment, individualized exercise prescription and help to establish goals to reduce modifiable risk factors. Cost: $75.
  • Home Program: After completing the assessment, consider the Home Program which includes an in-personal Final Fitness Assessment and phone call follow up / encouragement in between. Cost: $150.
  • Custom Program: After completing the assessment consider the Custom Program which includes 4 clinically supervised exercise sessions and an in-person Final Fitness Assessment. Cost: $185.
  • Full Program: After completing the assessment, consider the Full Program which includes 12 clinically supervised exercise sessions and an in-person Final Fitness Assessment. Cost: $275.
  • Virtual Assessment: Phone call assessment & consultation; Health history & medication review, assistance in developing an individualized exercise prescription and help to establish goals to reduce modifiable risk factors. Cost: $55
  • Virtual Cardiac Rehabilitation Program: 8-week program connects you with a Cardiac Exercise Physiologist via telephone to help you learn more about your heart condition, exercising safely, eating well, managing stress & taking medications in an effort to improve your overall health and quality of life. Cost: $125.
