Neurofeedback is a therapy option used to help the brain to regulate and maintain the body more effectively. It has been shown to improve mental clarity and focus. Neurofeedback is a non-invasive therapy that is completely safe with no known side effects. Neurofeedback may help treat conditions such as TBIs, ADHD/ADD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Age Eligibility: Services are provided to individuals aged 5 and up, and in some cases with 4-year-olds, provided they’re able to sit still and watch a movie for 45–90 minutes while wearing sensors on their head.

Referral & Coverage Info: The cost for neurofeedback treatment starts at $140/session + GST. A referral is not required to access service, however, the initial Therapeutic Assessment is covered by MSP if a referral is provided. If a client prefers to go without a referral and pay privately, the price is $340 + GST. Some extended health plans may also offer reimbursement, depending on the provider and the family’s coverage. If the client comes with a referral for the therapeutic assessment and has begun treatment, they additionally provide a support therapy program (psychotherapy or talk therapy) to help them along the treatment process; this is also covered by MSP.
