A “for community, by community” charitable service agency, delivering mental health support to 2SLGBTQIA+ and/or IBPOC young people (ages 12-24).
This Space is a “for community, by community” charitable service agency, delivering mental health support to 2SLGBTQIA+ and/or IBPOC young people (ages 12-24). They offer:
  • Drop-in space Mon-Wed (hours online and on social media)
  • 1-1 Mental health counselling: Free counseling for 2S/LGBTQIA+ and/or IBPOC youth (12-24) in the Okanagan.
  • Group programming: Queer wellness group is discussion-based peer group with a new topic to yap about every week (think: friendship, sexual health, mental health, queer media, neurodivergence).
  • Gender affirming wear program: Provides free new and used gender-affirming wear to trans and gender-variant youth ages 14-25 who reside in BC, Canada and are unable to attain these garments otherwise.
  • Gender based violence counselling: 1 to 1 counselling with This Space Belongs to You's dedicated gender-based violence counsellor. Clients referred to the GBV counsellor will have a maximum of 8 sessions.

  • Workshops and trainings
