Ki-Low-Na Elder Care - Aboriginal Supports

The Elder Care program centres around a culturally appropriate holistic approach that focuses on achieving and maintaining wellness through the balanced teachings of the Medicine Wheel.

Services include:
  • Assistance with obtaining health care and contact with Aboriginal Patient Navigator
  • Assistance with Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security, and Guaranteed Income Supplement applications
  • Access to mental health services
  • Housing.
Activities for Elders include monthly Elders’ Luncheons, attending the annual Elders’ Gathering, Elders’ Picnic, medicine picking, yoga, and other activities.
