Wellness Development Centre - Activities and Support for individuals with mental health issues

A place where individuals dealing with mental health issues can come to connect with others, engage in wellness-based activities, learn and improve mental and physical wellness and contribute to a vibrant community.
The Wellness Development Centre (WDC) is a place where individuals dealing with mental health issues can come to connect with others, engage in wellness-based activities, learn, and improve mental and physical wellness, and contribute to a vibrant community! Many different activities are offered at the Wellness Development Centre to foster recovery, grow the community, and build wellness-based skills. Visit the website for the current calendar. A referral from a health professional is required to access the WDC. This can be emailed back to CMHA Kelowna or dropped off at the office. Low-cost lunches are available.

- Art classes
- Open studio time
- Sewing and knitting
- Music
- Yoga
- Meditation
- Exercise
- Swimming
- Qigong
- Community outings
- Peer support groups
- Learning groups
