Provides specialized care to children and youth with concussions. The purpose is to help them return to activities at home, school, and play happen more quickly and safely. offer services specifically for youth ages 13 – 25 with clinicians who are trained to work with this age group. Services Include:
  • Youth Rapid Access Counselling : A clinical counselling program specializing in brain injury for youths 13 - 25 years old.
  • Youth Support Group: Youth Support Group connects you with others your age who are undergoing similar experiences and facing similar challenges.
  • Life Skills Support: Program matches clients with a personal facilitator to help them identify, set, and meet their post-injury goals.
  • Resource Centre: Provides a selection of videos, webinars, articles, and recovery guides specifically for youth with concussion and brain injury.

To be eligible an individual must:
  • Be between the ages of 13 and 25
  • Provide proof of an acquired brain injury confirmed by a physician and through medical or rehabilitation documentation.
  • Be assessed and cleared of a more serious injury by a physician
  • must be currently living in Central Okanagan, BC (from Armstrong to Peachland). Note: If you are outside this area, paid services are offered remotely and are open to anyone living in Canada. Rapid access counselling is not offered remotely
